Worksop Young Carers Christmas Party

Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw work in partnership to give Young Carers of Worksop an amazing Christmas party.

                                                                  

Working in partnership with BPL, Tu-Vida and Home Instead, Focus helped put on a Christmas Party for Worksop Young Carers.  

With donations provided from Worksop Rotary Club and The Lions Club amongst others, the Young Carers were entertained with Christmas crafts, making a giant paper chain, decorating a Christmas t-shirt and playing Bingo!  After a scrummy Christmas tea the Big Man himself made an appearance with each child receiving a selection box and a drinks cup filled with sweets.  

That was not all!  Every child was given a winning raffle ticket where a host of goodies were on offer and before they left, received an age appropriate Christmas bag filled with toys, crafts, games and books. 

It goes without saying a great time was had by all and it was extremely satisfying to see the big smiles on the young carers faces, being given an amazing party just for them and a well deserved few hours off!
