About Us
Our work supports young people, to gain confidence, learn new transferrable skills and reach goals that will help them achieve their full potential.
The charity has a Grant Giving Trust, small grants can be awarded to Individuals and Groups within the Bassetlaw area. To see if you are eligible please check the criteria.
Based in Worksop, our charity supports young people in Bassetlaw aged between 8-25 yrs. old. We raise funds, by holding several events throughout the year, to find out more go to the events page.

Welbeck Estate 10K Fun Run/Walk
Each year the charity holds a 10K fun run/walk around the Welbeck Estate. The next 10K will be on Sunday 9th May 2027 at 10.30 a.m.
Let your hair down at our ‘Rapunzel’ Pantomime at Ye Olde Bell
Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw are very excited to present the pantomime Rapunzel by Blyth Players at Ye Olde Bell, Barnby Moore on Sunday 24th January 2027.
Charity Quiz Night with Cheese & Wine
The annual Quiz Night at Retford Oaks Academy is always a fabulous event. This years Quiz with cheese and wine will be on Thursday 19th November 2026, 7.00 for 7.30 pm. £40 per team of 4.
Charity Golf Competition Sat 10th July 2027
The charity holds an Am-Am Stableford golf competition every year at Kilton Forest Golf Club. Next year’s charity golf event will be on Saturday 10th June 2027 with tee times between 9.30 am and 11.30 a.m.

Creative Showcase ‘Focus on You!’
Focus’ flagship event ‘Focus on You’ returns to North Notts Arena, Worksop, on 25th March 2026. This extravaganza of creativity is a real celebration of children and young people from across Bassetlaw.
