Emily was awarded funding to help her purchase new equipment needed when she started competing in a different age group.
Emily, is an athlete from this area that competes in high jump, heptathlon and hurdles following her grant she said;
“I was able to train with my own equipment therefore in competition, I was more comfortable and able to throw further allowing me to achieve more “.
Emily has had a successful year winning at senior national level, competing for GB in a European match in Berlin.
