Move More in May Finale

Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw were absolutely delighted to get involved with Move More in May again this year.  We supported with our Fun Run around the Welbeck Estate and then celebrated at the finale in Kings Park in Retford.

                                 

 Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw supported Move More in May again this year.  Our 10K Fun Run around the Welbeck Estate helped towards the goal of 24,901 miles, which is equivalent of once around the world.  In fact, by the end of May that goal was doubled as 50,000 miles were wracked up across Bassetlaw.

To mark the finale, a fun day was held in Kings Park in Retford on Thursday 30th May, which was supported by many organisations and visitors alike.  Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw shared a Gazebo with our friends at BPL who brought their mascot Derek the Dolphin.  FoYPiB offered children glitter tattoos and mini face painting free of charge, whilst raising awareness for the charity by chatting to parents.  The glitter tattoos were extremely popular as you can imagine!
