Wellbeing Packs Throughout Lockdown

Since lockdown started in March 2020, FoYPiB has been proactive in the community giving out wellbeing packs to young people in Bassetlaw and their families.  To make a donation to support this work please Contact Us

To date we have supported 698 individuals and over 275 families giving them things to do during lockdown and daily hygiene products.  The packs we gave out in 2020 included footballs,  arts and crafts materials,  jigsaws, games, books, bubbles, cake mixes, sewing kits, yo-yos, felt tips, adult colouring books, shower gel, shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste, to name a few!  The recipients of the packs were identified through social services, families services, women’s refuge, leaving care, young carers, youth clubs and schools.  In 2021 we have been giving out wellbeing packs of  personal and domestic hygiene products which include: Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary pads, hand wash, hand sanitiser, face masks, antibacterial spray, bathroom cleaner, floor cleaner, bleach, cloths and scourers. Our first packs in 2021 included 2417 products in total and reached 141 individuals and 56 families.  The second phase reached 8 families and 166 individuals. Thanks to funding from Notts County Council Covid Fund and individual donations.  To make a donation to support the work we do please  Contact Us
