Welbeck Estate 10K Fun Run/Walk

This year’s annual 10K Fun Run around the Welbeck Estate was a huge success raising over £2400.

   

On Sunday 1st August, a little later in the year than normal, the charity held its annual Fun Run around the Welbeck Estate.  Donations were made mainly through Eventbrite and the 10K event attracted around 250 participants, raising over £2400 for the charity.  The beautiful 10K for runners and walkers alike attracted a host of ages and abilities, the youngest runner this year being a 5 year old boy and the eldest well into their 80’s.

The event was supported by volunteers and Trustees of the charity and the Rotary clubs of both Dukeries and Worksop as well as Valley Young Peoples Centre;  Thanks to all who helped make this event possible!  Special thanks too, to Alison Swan Parente, the owner of the estate and the charities President for allowing us to hold this fabulous event.  Photos have been published on our Facebook page, click the link below to view.
