FoYPiB Support Young Carers

Staff of Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw go on Young Carers Awareness Training.

             

   

FoYPiB has been working in partnership with Young Carers Notts, BPL and Home Instead to facilitate young carer events over the last few years. Recently the staff of Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw have completed Young Carers Awareness Training, this information was then cascaded to the Board of Trustees.  Noelle Barron, Development Manager is now also a Young Carer Advocate. 

We are keen to continue this work and share Young Carers Notts resources with partners and the wider public to raise awareness of young carers within our community.
