Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw work in partnership to give Young Carers of Bassetlaw an amazing Easter party.

Working in partnership with BPL and Tu-Vida, Focus helped host a fantastic Easter Party for Bassetlaw Young Carers.

Thanks to Kilton Forest Golf Course, for providing a wonderful venue and delicious party food. Beautiful Easter Decorations, creatively arranged by Claire Haselden, added a festive touch to the celebration. We are especially grateful to the various generous donors, particularly Pandrol uk ltd Worksop for the incredible Easter Eggs. Entertainment was provided by the fabulous ‘Andy & Lewis’ and funding support from @Worksop Rotary Club – Thank you for all your invaluable contributions!

The young carers enjoyed a vast selection of Easter Crafts followed by party food tea, an amazing show by ‘Andy & Lewis’ and a raffle where everybody won an Easter themed prize. Each young carer also received an Easter goody bag to take home with them.

A big thank you goes to Vicky Waring for volunteering her time, as well as Angie, Suzanne, Ali, Noelle, Claire, Tracey and the Kilton staff. The young people had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the event.
