BLYTH PLAYERS GRINCH GRANT

The performing arts are a vital part of community life, offering children a chance to develop confidence, teamwork, and creative skills.

Putting on a theatrical show requires a significant financial investment, and costumes for a large children's cast can quickly become a major expense.

The Blyth Players wanted to ensure their young performers had professional, high-quality costumes to enhance their experience and the audience's enjoyment.  They applied to FoYPiB for funding and secured a grant to buy a full set of costumes for the kids.

Blyth players were elated to receive the funding from Focus buying all the costumes for the kids in 'The Grinch' with no expense to them.

The show was a huge success with 5 sell out performances.

By removing a major financial obstacle, FoYPiB enabled the Blyth Players to achieve a resounding success that strengthens their society and inspires the next generation of performers. Every child involved got to be part of a truly magical, stress-free, and successful production.
