Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw

Focusing resources on the needs, aspirations and abilities of young people.

Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw is an independent charity which supports young people aged 8-25 years living in the Bassetlaw District of Nottinghamshire.

It assists other organizations in their endeavors and provides & encourages positive activities for young people.

To do this we need to raise substantial funds annually.

What we do

We help young people to recognise and value their worth. We help young people develop their interpersonal and group skills within a structured environment whilst having fun.

FoYPiB works in several ways:

As a grant giving trust which assists young people and their organisations
in their many and varied ventures with financial assistance.

At least 1200 young people each year receive support

As an organiser of events which help to raise the confidence and
self esteem of young people, with informal learning
and development opportunities.

• Sewhat Fashion Extravaganza
• Musical Concerts
• BMX Challenges
• Raft Races
• Sports Activities
• Golf Days
• Cooking Competitions

As a voluntary sector agency that plays a major
part, through consultation, in the development
of services for young people in the area.

FoYPiB works in partnership with other local
organisations supporting young people.

We are also able to offer help, advice and Information on:

• The Drawing up of Policies
• Identifying Local Resources
• Links to other Support Agencies and More....
