Welfare Packs for Vulnerable Children & Young People
FoYPiB buys and delivers Welfare Packs for vulnerable Young People during Covid-19 pandemic.
Depite lockdown FoYPiB have remained focused on helping Young People throughout Bassetlaw who need it most! The welfare packs, or ‘Goody Bags’ as they have been called are age and gender appropriate with the contents providing different types of entertainment, crafting, colouring, games, balls, books, baking, sewing, toiletries, bubbles, sweets and chocolate. We have identified the recipients of the goody bags through schools, government services and local councillors and have managed to deliver across a huge cross section of Bassetlaw, helping out 329 individuals and 50 families to date. FoYPiB are very grateful to all that have donated and supported throughout the pandemic so far, including Notts County Council, Bassetlaw District Councillors, Retford Rotary Club, Morrison’s Worksop, B&M Worksop & Carlton-in-Lindrick Knights FC. We hope to continue this work if we are successful in securing additional funding. If you would like to help with further funding of this project please contact us.
