Grants for Young People

Applications requesting financial assistance can be received from individuals or organisations.

You must live in the Bassetlaw district of North Nottinghamshire and be aged between 8 - 25 years.

Applications received by the trust are many and varied, the charity is able to offer support, where possible, for;

• Expanding or Maintaining an Existing Project
• To Start a New Project

Support offered can be for;

• Capital Costs
• Revenue Costs

The trustees of Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw meet six times each year to discuss applications; additionally there is a mechanism in place if time is limited and a decision needs to be made quickly. Assistance can be given to access the support that is available if anyone requires guidance regarding the completion of the application form.

Evaluation

If financial support is agreed, after a six month period all organisations and individuals receiving support are encouraged to complete a simple monitoring and evaluation form.
