Values and Aims of the Charity

Values
We believe that a free and stable society is the best foundation for enabling young people to develop to their full potential. This means that we must in all our endeavours provide access to opportunities for all our young people regardless of social class, gender, race, cultural origin or sexual orientation.  

Such a society will be a socially just society and one which encourages active and responsible citizenship.   

Aims
In fulfilment of our values we will:

  • Seek to support and encourage both individual young people and young people’s organisations in pursuing their aspirations.
  • Positively encourage enterprising, creative initiatives which are likely to enhance the quality of life for both individuals and organisations.
  • Offer financial support where possible and appropriate.

In pursuit of the foregoing we will pay particular attention to young people facing personal disadvantage or living in deprived communities.

What We Do

Promote social and individual development and work towards eradicating social and individual exclusion through supporting young people both individually and through their organisations.
